Install Rolecrate before directory approval

You can connect Rolecrate manually through ChatGPT developer mode while the public plugin is under review.

  1. Open ChatGPT → Settings → Security and login and enable Developer mode.
  2. Open ChatGPT Plugins and choose the plus button.
  3. Name the connection Rolecrate and enter https://api.rolecrate.com/mcp as the MCP server URL.
  4. Create the connection, choose Sign in with Rolecrate, and approve access.
  5. Start a new chat, enable Rolecrate from the tools menu, and ask it to read your profile.

Connect from the directory

  1. Add the Rolecrate plugin from ChatGPT when it becomes available to your account.
  2. Select Sign in with Rolecrate.
  3. Sign in at rolecrate.com and approve the connection.
  4. Ask ChatGPT to read your Rolecrate profile to verify the connection.

Disconnect ChatGPT

Open Rolecrate Settings, find Rolecrate for ChatGPT, and choose Disconnect. Revocation is immediate and invalidates the connection's refresh tokens. You can reconnect later.

Troubleshooting

If authorization fails, confirm you are signed into the intended active job-seeker account, allow pop-ups for ChatGPT, and retry from the plugin settings. If a write is rejected, ask ChatGPT to show the proposed change and confirm it explicitly before retrying.
